STEP I
Raw Materials
Our journey begins in the Pamir Mountains, where goats produce rare, naturally white “Soft Gold” cashmere in response to the harsh climate.
White cashmere is the most valuable and scarce fiber on the earth, which are combed and not sheared.

STEP II
Washing
The raw fiber is gently washed to remove dirt, impurities and synthetic contaminants. After rinsing in clean water, the fibers are passed through soft rollers to remove moisture and then dried in warm air. This process keeps the fibers intact and ready for the next step.

STEP III
Remove Impurities
Removing impurities from our Grade A white cashmere is our most crucial step. By extracting them by hand, we ensure that we provide the highest quality cashmere on the market.
STEP IV
Spun
Next, the fibers are carded to straighten them. They are spun into continuous yarns, carefully twisted to balance strength and softness. This transforms raw cashmere into the threads that form the foundation of every W.Cashmere piece.

STEP V
Dyeing
Our hand-dyeing process ensures that the yarn retains its softness, unlike heavily dyed fibers that lose their quality. This commitment to minimal processing helps our cashmere maintain its status as the finest-quality cashmere, avoiding the damaging effects of excessive coloring and bleaching while preserving its natural excellence from the source.

STEP VI
Knitting
The yarn is knitted using traditional techniques, creating a luxurious fabric with a perfect balance of stretch, softness, and warmth. This careful, deliberate process ensures the fabric retains its shape and grace over time.

STEP VII
Quality Control
Every W.Cashmere piece is carefully crafted by skilled hands and thoroughly inspected for quality. We check each garment closely for any imperfections.
Only the finest make it to our collection. Those that don’t are given new life in meaningful ways — returned to the communities where our story began, or offered to those in need.
